What we collect, and what we don't.
No accounts, no tracking cookies, no ad network. An email if you ask for the digest, a task name if you submit one, and logs we keep briefly to stop abuse.
What we collect
Your email if you join the digest. A task name, category, cost estimate, take, and optional credit if you submit a task. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) kept briefly for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
That's the complete list.
What we don't collect
No accounts, no passwords, no tracking cookies, no cross-site pixels, no selling or renting data to anyone. Votes ("went DIY" / "still hired someone") are stored as anonymous counts per task, not tied to you.
Affiliate links
Affiliate links carry a tracking parameter that tells the destination site the click came from us, so we can earn a commission. The destination site handles whatever it collects from there — check its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic — pages visited, referrers, rough location by country. It's cookie-free and doesn't build a profile of you across sites.
Email use
Digest emails only — new verdicts, changed verdicts, occasional notes. No third-party marketing, no list sales. Unsubscribe link in every email.
Data deletion
Email us and we'll delete your submission, your digest subscription, or both. There's no account to delete because there's no account.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date at the top moves and, if you're subscribed, we'll say so in the digest.
Terms live at /terms.
